Capt. Kuldeep Singh Solanki
Promoter
Capt. Kuldeep Solanki is the founder and driving force behind the Sainik Group of Companies,
with over four decades of leadership in mining, logistics, drilling, and exploration.
After a short stint in the Indian Army, he co-founded SMASL in 1981, transforming it into one
of India’s leading mining enterprises. A pioneer in introducing surface miner technology in India,
he has spearheaded some of the country’s largest MDO projects in Jharkhand and Odisha.
He founded Sainik Infratec, a rapidly growing family-owned enterprise, further strengthening
the Group’s presence in the mining sector.
Yuvraj Singh Solanki
Director
An entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience in the mining sector across India and Ethiopia, he serves as MD of SMASL and Director of SIPL, overseeing the Group’s Odisha operations. A Business Studies graduate from the University of De Montfort, Leicester (2008), he brings global perspective and entrepreneurial vision to the Group’s growth.
Himmat Singh Bedla
Director
Managing Director of TSMPL, a group company operating as MDO in one of India’s largest NTPC-owned coal blocks. He also serves as Director in several companies and oversees the Group’s Jharkhand operations, bringing decades of experience in mining and transportation. A passionate sportsman, he owns a polo team and has represented the Indian National Polo Team.
Naryan Singh Rathore
Director
Former Indian Army officer with over a decade of leadership experience in infrastructure and mining. At the Sainik Group, he has spearheaded key projects in Jharkhand, including NTPC’s flagship MDO at Pakri Barwadih and major Coal India contracts. He holds a Business Management postgraduate degree from NMIMS, Mumbai, and is a Computer Science Engineer, and an alumnus of Mayo College, Ajmer.
