About the Role
We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to operate haul trucks, loaders, excavators, and other mining machinery. The operator will ensure safe, efficient, and productive movement of materials within the mine.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as haul trucks, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and excavators.
- Perform daily pre-use inspections and report equipment issues.
- Follow production targets and safely execute loading and hauling tasks.
- Maintain clean and safe working areas within the pit.
- Work collaboratively with dispatch and operations supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy mining or construction equipment.
- Certification or license for equipment operation (preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and harsh environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
