About the Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and field-ready Geologist to support exploration, mapping, and geological modeling activities. This role is critical for identifying new mineral deposits and supporting efficient ore extraction programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field mapping, sampling, drilling oversight, and geological interpretation.
- Analyze drill cores, rock samples, and geophysical data.
- Create and maintain 3D geological models and deposit evaluations.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly geological reports to the operations team.
- Work closely with mining and engineering teams to optimize extraction strategies.
- Ensure accurate data logging, sample handling, and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of exploration or mining geology experience.
- Experience with modeling software (Leapfrog, Micromine, etc.).
- Willingness to work in remote locations and challenging environments.
- Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
