About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to support the planning, development, and safe execution of mining operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing production, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mine plans, schedules, and production forecasts.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for new and existing projects.
- Collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and operations teams to maximize ore extraction.
- Monitor and improve mine performance against KPIs.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, project proposals, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in mining operations (surface or underground).
- Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan, Datamine).
- Strong knowledge of mining regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
